When creating an event, you’ll need to specify whether it takes place online or in real life (IRL). This ensures attendees receive the correct access details and understand how to prepare.
IRL Events
For IRL events, you must provide:
Venue name
Venue address
You can also choose to keep the location secret. If enabled, the venue details will only be revealed to ticket holders after they activate their tickets.
This is ideal for:
Secret‑location parties
High‑privacy events
NSFW or exclusive gatherings
Set this by selecting your preferred activation timing from the dropdown menu in your event settings.
Online Events
For online events, simply provide an event link.
You can:
Add the link immediately
Add it later by editing your event
Choose to Ticket Activation (bottom of page) to hide the URL until they have activated their ticket - typically 24 hours before.
This gives you flexibility if you’re finalising your streaming platform, meeting link, or access instructions closer to the event date.
