Event Types

Every event created on WAX must be assigned to one of our four supported categories. Choosing the correct category helps attendees understand what to expect and ensures your event aligns with our Community Guidelines.

Here are the four event types:

An adult event that may include NSFW content, nudity and designated play spaces. Restricted to attendees who meet age requirements and are comfortable with explicit content.

A safe‑for‑work event in a club setting. May include DJs, performers, dress codes and entertainment — but no adult content.

A casual event focused on socialising and networking. Ideal for meeting new people and making connections IRL.
​

An educational event held either IRL or online. Can include workshops, lectures or masterclasses, and may involve adult themes or nudity.

When creating your event, tap the “i” information icon in the Create Event section. This provides detailed guidance to help you select the category that best fits your event’s content and purpose.
