Why might I be removed from WAX?
At WAX, our highest priority is to maintain a safe and authentic platform for all our members to express themselves freely. Our community guidelines are at the heart of this effort, and we want to ensure that everyone enjoys a positive experience. We expect all users to adhere to our community guidelines both on and off our platforms. If you violate these guidelines, you could get removed from the app for good. Below are some reasons why an account might be removed:
Bullying Behavior:
Engaging in hurtful or disrespectful behavior towards others, whether through messages or in person.
Verification and Identification:
Failing to provide the necessary information for identity verification.
Inappropriate Conduct:
Behaving inappropriately on our platform or at our co-branded or third-party events.
Non-Consensual Behavior:
Engaging in activities without clear consent, (link to consent)whether on our platform or at our events.
Misuse of Vouching:
Using our vouching system in ways it's not intended for, such as requesting vouches without meeting the criteria or the person.
Criminal Behavior:
Involvement in criminal activities directed towards any of our members.
Offensive or Hateful Behavior:
Using language or exhibiting behavior that is offensive, abusive, or hateful, including sexism, fetishism, body shaming, or racism.
Screenshotting Content:
Taking screenshots of content without permission, which is a breach of our members' privacy.
Stalking and Harassment:
Repeatedly bothering or following other members online or in person.
False Accounts and Catfishing:
Creating fake profiles or pretending to be someone else, including using heavily manipulated images.
Self-Promotion:
Using our platform to promote yourself or gain followers. Remember, WAX is not a place for making money or using automated tools.
Here’s what we don’t allow …
We do not permit any commercial exchange of sexual or romantic acts on WAX. This includes:
Selling or buying sexual acts or services for money or value (e.g., sex work, escort services).
Selling or buying adult sexual content, including promoting or redirecting to adult websites.(e.g only fans, patreon)
Seeking or offering romantic or sexual arrangements in exchange for money, financial support, or gifts (e.g., 'sugar daddy' or 'sugar baby' arrangements).
Monetary Gain: WAX isn't a marketplace for making money, gaining followers, or promoting businesses. Let's focus on building meaningful connections.
Spam: Spam is any unwanted or irrelevant content, often sent in bulk or too frequently. We don't allow:
Content meant to deceive or mislead for more views or followers.
Misleading links, including those pretending to be reputable brands.
Attempts to artificially boost conversations, connections, or engagement using automation.
Sharing contact details, private messaging info, or sensitive self-identifying data in your profile, photo, or messages.
Unsolicited promotion of your social media or website in private messages.
Images containing links or QR codes.
Creating excessive accounts that disrupt other members.
Spamming Others:
Sending excessive or unwanted content to others.
Suspicious Activity:
Engaging in activities that raise suspicion, whether online or at our co-branded or a third party event.
Multiple Reports:
Receiving multiple reports from different users about your behavior.
Multiple Account Creation:
Generating spam or new accounts after being banned from the platform.
Cyberflashing:
Sending explicit content without consent, which is illegal in some jurisdictions and strictly prohibited on WAX.
Chargebacks
Please be aware that chargebacks can have a significant impact on our business operations and financial stability. In the event of a chargeback initiated without prior communication with us, WAX reserves the right to suspend or terminate services provided.
