Photo Guidelines FAQ

Q: Can I use photos that aren't mine? A: No, all photos on WAX must be your own, and you should appear in every image.

Q: Whose photos can be in my Profile and public photos? A: Only individuals who have verified for that specific account should be featured in your Profile and public photos.

Q: Are photos of minors allowed? A: No, photos of minors (under the age of 18) are strictly prohibited.

Q: What kind of photos should I avoid? A: Keep it real – no blocking, heavy filtering, AI images, emojis, lines, or blurred images.

Q: What's wrong with heavily filtered images? A: While creativity is appreciated, heavily filtered images that significantly alter your appearance are discouraged.

Q: Can I use AI enhancements on my photos? A: No, we encourage members to let their true selves shine and refrain from using AI enhancements that distort or modify facial features.

Q: Can I add watermarks or text overlays to my photos? A: Let the images speak for themselves – avoid watermarks or text overlays.

Q: Are there restrictions on explicit content? A: Yes, photos should be safe for work – no pornographic material, bare bottoms, nipples, intimate areas, or sex acts.

Q: Can I include guns or drugs in my photos? A: No, guns or drugs are not allowed in photos.
