Profiles
Your profile should reflect the real you.
• Use your own photos and ensure you appear in every image. If you share photos that include other people, you must have their explicit consent. Any image that appears non‑consensual may be removed without notice.
No emojis, no social handles, no blurring, and no heavy AI or heavy filters are allowed in profile photos.
• Photos of others are allowed, but only when: You are in the photo, and The other person has consented to being shown on your profile or Explore feed, and They are over the age of 21 years.
• Explore posts publish directly to your profile grid. Anything you share on Explore becomes part of your profile unless you delete it.
• Nudity and explicit imagery rules: Nudity above the waist is allowed for all genders — #freethenipple.
Highly explicit or pornographic content should be kept to private chats or community groups where permitted.
Any content considered NSFW will be automatically moved to connections‑only visibility.
The public feed (show to all) will remain fully SFW.
We do not allow images of anyone under the age of 21 anywhere in WAX.
Explore Feed
Explore is where you share moments with your network in a safe, respectful and non‑judgemental environment.
What you can post
• Lifestyle media Selfies, travel photos, event shots, getting ready to go out, day‑to‑day moments.
• Personal updates Thoughts, reflections, stories, wins, challenges.
• Photos including other people, as long as: You are in the photo, and They have consented to being posted. Any image that appears non‑consensual or underage may be removed without explanation. No emojis, no social handles, no blurring, and no heavy AI or heavy filters.
• Nudity above the waist (all genders) is allowed. This follows a European sunbathing standard.
What is restricted
Highly explicit or pornographic content Allowed only in private chats or approved community groups where allowed. If posted publicly, it will be moved to connections‑only visibility.
We will also remove photos with emojis, blurred faces, social handles, blocked out eyes, over edited, AI manipulated or poor quality.
Visibility rules
Explore posts publish directly to your profile on either grid or temporary circle icons. Anything you share becomes part of your profile unless you delete it. Explicit content visible to connections only will not appear on the public feed.
Memories
A Memory is a permanent photo you choose to display on your profile grid.
Memories stay on your grid until you delete them. They are part of your long‑term profile identity. Anything posted to Explore and saved as a Memory will remain visible on your profile.
Stories
A Story is a temporary photo shared on the Explore feed for quick, real‑time updates.
Stories stay visible for 7 days, unless you delete them sooner. After 7 days, they disappear automatically and do not remain on your profile grid.
