Q: Can I use photos that aren’t mine?

A: No. All photos on WAX must be your own, and you must appear in every image.

Q: Whose photos can be in my Profile and public photos?

A: Only individuals who have verified for that specific account can appear in your Profile or public photos.

Q: Are photos of minors allowed?

A: No. Photos of anyone under 18 are strictly prohibited.

Q: What kind of photos should I avoid?

A: Keep it real. Avoid blocking, heavy filtering, AI images, emojis, lines, blurred images or anything that hides your face.

Q: What’s wrong with heavily filtered images?

A: Filters that significantly change your appearance aren’t allowed. We want members to see the real you.

Q: Can I use AI enhancements on my photos?

A: No. AI tools that distort or modify facial features should not be used.

Q: Can I add watermarks or text overlays?

A: No. Photos should be clear and natural, without watermarks or added text.

Q: Are there restrictions on explicit content?

A: Yes. Photos must be safe for work. No pornographic content, bare bottoms, nipples, intimate areas or sex acts.

Q: Can I include guns or drugs in my photos?

A: No. Guns or drugs are not permitted in any photos on WAX.
