At WAX we are excited to offer a wide range of online workshops and masterclasses designed to help you discover more about yourself.
To participate in these amazing events, you'll need to be a verified member of WAX and purchase your tickets through your profile.
We'll be using Zoom for our online events, and on the day of the event, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to join. So, if you haven't already, be sure to download Zoom to your laptop, PC, or smartphone. And if you're joining from your smartphone, we suggest placing it on a stand or tripod so you can keep your hands free!
Here are a few tips to make sure you have the best possible webcam experience:
If required, turn on your video! We have to be able to see you, or you'll miss out on the fun.
Test your video and audio ahead of time at zoom.us/test.
Adjust your camera position to get the best view.
Look directly at the camera when you're talking.
Choose a simple background that's not too distracting.
Lighting is key! Make sure the lighting is soft and flattering, coming from the front rather than the back.
Position yourself so the camera is capturing more than just your face. This will be more natural for the viewer.
Lastly, make sure that we never see more than two people are on your screen at any one time. Kids, housemates, pets, and other family members should all be out of the way during the event.
