There are two main reasons why you may not be able to book a KK event on WAX:
Membership Requirements:
To book a KK event, you must be verified and a full KK member, meaning you have completed the verification process and also have applied and had approved KK membership.
If the system is indicating that you need to be a member despite having verification, it means you need to complete the KK membership application process. Once your membership is approved, you will be able to purchase tickets.
Booking Eligibility:
In KK, there are two types of members:
Full Kitten Members (women, trans, and non-binary individuals)
Guest Members (anyone else)
Only Full Kitten members can book tickets for KK events. This aligns with KK’s ethos as a femme-led company, where the power of booking is kept in the hands of Kittens.
If you have a couples account, only the Full Kitten member will be able to book tickets. The Full Kitten member can book both a Kitten ticket and a KK Guest Member ticket, which can then be transferred to their chosen KK guest member.
Exception for Singles Events:
For our singles events, which are held throughout the year, KK Guest Members can book tickets without requiring an invitation or transfer from a Full Kitten member.
