What is a private chat? A private chat is an invite-only group where only members you choose can see and participate. It’s perfect for keeping conversations exclusive and intimate.

Open the WAX app and go to your Chats. (messaging icon, bottom centre of screen).

Tap the Pen and paper button in the bottom-right corner.

Choose members to invite from your connections and click Next.

Name your chat and add a profile picture if you like.

Tap Create, and you’re ready to go!

4. Choose members to invite from your connections and click Next.
5. Name your chat and add a profile picture if you like.

Who can see my private chat? Only the people you invite can see and join the chat. It’s completely hidden from everyone else.

Can I assign admins to help manage the group? Yes, the chat owner can assign admin roles to group members. Admins can help manage the group but can’t delete the chat.

How many people can I add to a private chat? Private chats can have up to 2,000 members.

Can I make a private chat public or connection-visible? No, private chats are fixed as private. You’ll need to create a new group if you want a public or connections-visible chat.
