xPay is a convenient prepayment plan offered by WAX that allows you to split the cost of your tickets into equal installments. This service is designed to make attending events more accessible while keeping the process transparent and manageable.
How Does xPay Work?
Installments: xPay splits your ticket cost into equal installments, displayed at checkout.
Initial Payment: An initial payment is required at the time of purchase.
Automatic Charges: Subsequent installments are automatically charged to your payment card according to the schedule provided at checkout.
Ownership: Tickets remain the property of WAX until all installments are paid in full.
Eligibility for xPay
To use xPay, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a verified WAX account.
Possess a valid payment card with sufficient funds for all installments.
What Are the Fees for xPay?
Nominal Administrative Fee: A one-time fee of £3 is applied to each order, regardless of the ticket price.
Purpose: This fee covers operational costs, such as payment processing and administrative overhead, ensuring we can provide this service sustainably without charging interest.
Payment Schedule and Cancellations
Payments will be charged automatically as per the agreed schedule.
In Case of Payment Failure:
We will notify you and attempt to retry the payment.
If unsuccessful, your ticket order will be canceled, and previously paid amounts will not be refunded.
What Happens If I Change My Payment Card?
You can update your payment card details at any time through the WAX app. If your card is canceled or updated, you must notify us and provide new details to avoid installment plan cancellation.
Is xPay a Credit Agreement?
No, xPay is not a credit agreement. It does not charge interest or create borrowing. Instead, it is a service fee-based convenience offering, compliant with consumer protection laws.
How Do I Sign Up for xPay?
X Pay is available at checkout for eligible events. Simply select the X Pay option, review the payment schedule, and confirm your purchase.
Ownership of Tickets
Tickets will only be released once all installments and fees have been paid in full.
