How Can I Find Public Community Chat Groups?
Finding public groups is easy:
Click on Chats icon (message icon, bottom middle of the page).
Click the Communities tab at the top.
Use the Search Icon (magnifier) at the top of the screen to search by group title.
Use the Filter Icon next to the search icon to apply filters for specific group tags or interests.
OR click on Highlighted Headings to see a list of all approved public groups within that category.
How Can I Leave a Chat Group?
If you wish to leave a chat group:
Go to Chats (chat icon, bottom middle of the screen).
Click on the chat you want to leave.
Click on the Chat Title at the top of the screen.
Scroll down and click Leave Chat.
You will automatically be removed from the chat.
I Have a Problem With a Public Chat Group.
If you believe a public chat group does not align with WAX values and rules, please report it to us:
Report the Group Owner via the app by using the reporting feature.
Alternatively, email the team at hello@wearexapp.com with the details.
I Was Rejected From a Public Chat Group.
It is entirely at the chat group owner's discretion who is accepted or rejected from a group chat. WAX does not intervene in these decisions.
