How to List and Manage Your Event on WAX

Once your event has been approved for listing by WAX, you can start personalising your event listing and ticketing. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Getting Started

Log in to WAX:

  • Open the WAX app and log in using your email and password.

  • Click the Events icon (bottom right of the screen) and select Manage Your Event.

  • Alternatively, click your profile avatar (top left of the screen), scroll down, and click Manage Your Events.

  • You’ll be directed to the WAX Event Centre.

Create Your Event:

  • Click Create Your First Event to begin.

Enter Event Details

Event Type:

Select the category that best fits your event:

  • NSFW Party: Adult-only event with non-safe-for-work content, including nudity and play spaces.

  • Club Night: A safe-for-work event held in a club setting.

  • Social: A casual, safe-for-work event for socializing and networking.

  • Education: An educational event, either in-person or online.

Event Title:

Provide a clear and engaging title for your event.

Decide Who Can See Your Event

You have two visibility options:

  1. Public Event:

    • Visible to the entire WAX community.

    • Anyone can view and purchase tickets.

  2. Private Event:

    • Invite-only, where you control who receives the invite link.

    • Only those with the link can view or purchase tickets.

Insert Your Event Media

Event Cover:

  • Upload an image to represent your event in listings and invite links.

  • Click the arrow icon to upload your image.

Media Gallery:

  • Upload up to 10 media files, including videos, to showcase your event.

  • For invite-only socials, reuse the event cover if only one media file is available.

  • For listed events, we recommend to upload at least 5 media files to enhance visibility and appeal.

About the Event

  • Provide a brief description, including the event theme and what attendees can expect.

Location

  • IRL (In Real Life):

    • Include the venue name and details.

    • Select Secret Location if you want the address revealed closer to the event date.

    • Specify the start and end times and set the age requirement (18+ or 21+).

  • Online:

    • Provide the event link for virtual attendees.

Additional Information (Optional)

You can choose to include extra details about your event, such as:

  • Dress Code: Specify any attire guidelines for attendees.

  • Entry Requirements: Outline any criteria or conditions for entry.

  • Event Rules: Share guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

  • Safety Information: Provide details to ensure attendees feel secure and informed.

These details can be customised to suit your specific event.

Tickets

Here you can Customise your ticketing options:

  • Currency: Choose the currency for ticket prices.

  • Discounts: Offer X PLUS member discounts if applicable.

  • Ticket Tiers: Create options like Early Bird or General Admission, and set ticket quantities for each tier.

  • Custom Ticket Types: Create as many ticket types as needed.

Note: A 2.5% processing fee will be added to the ticket price and charged to attendees. This covers payment processing costs.Tickets:

Optional Extras

Promo Codes:

  • Create promo codes , please note these can be created at any time in the Event Centre for discounts or offers.

Ticket Activation:

  • Communicate event rules, dress codes, or agreements to attendees before tickets are released to ensure they review and acknowledge key details.

Preview and Publish

  1. Preview Your Event:

    • Review your listing and make any adjustments.

  2. Publish Your Event:

    • Click Publish to finalize your listing.

    • Confirm your choice when prompted.

    • Check the box to indicate you’ve read and accepted the Ticket Sales Agreement (we strongly encourage reviewing this carefully).

    • Click Publish Now to make your event live.Once you’ve added all necessary details, click Preview to review your listing and make any adjustments. When you’re satisfied, you can publish your event.

Once you are happy with your event and have set it to publish, it will then go to WAX review team to ensure it complies with our platforms guidance. This process will be completed within 24 hours.
